Job Summary

Students will build scenery and props for the UWG Theatre Company during season of plays. The job is physical and applicants must not be afraid to use power tools including saws, drills, routers, etc. Building and painting are part of this job. The UWG Theatre Scene Shop follows all safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

Must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher.

Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours for the summer and/or fall semester.

No experience necessary, but must be willing to be trained on power tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to read groundplans and other drawings pertinent to building scenery.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
