Job Description
FINISH CARPENTER Finish Carpenter DescriptionAble to collaborate well with managers, co-workers & carpenters helpers.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specifications.Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for projects.Must possess meticulous attention to detail.Cut, shape, and fabricate lumber and other materials (e.g. Azek) according to drawings.Comply with all company and local safety guidelines.Carpenter / General Requirements and QualificationsQuality attitude of excellence, clean vocabulary, no profanity. [ required ]Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity – non smoking. [ required ]High school diploma or equivalent. [ preferred but not required ]Completion of a carpentry program at a vocational school or carpentry apprenticeship [ preferred but not required ]5+ years of “professional”carpentry experience [ required ]Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation construction & modifications. [ required ]Own tools & transportation. [ required ]Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings [ required ]Must pass a background check. [ required ]LABOR HELPERHelper DescriptionLearn to collaborate well with managers, co-workers.Responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site.Will include loading and unloading tools or raw materials, assembling scaffolding or other pieces of equipment.Digging or filling holes throughout the construction process.Cleaning and preparing construction sites.Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.Laborer Requirements and QualificationsPosses a quality attitude of excellence, clean vocabulary, no profanity.
