Job Description

Coffeewood Correctional Center is seeking a qualified Carpenter Supervisor. The incumbent responsibilities include assisting the Buildings and Grounds department in all carpentry construction and maintenance by performing manual carpentry work. Instructs and supervises Offender work crews.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s License. Considerable knowledge of all aspects of carpentry, building construction, masonry, tools, blueprints, materials and measurements. Considerable skill in the use of tools of the trade. Demonstrated ability to supervise the work of others and communicate effectively, to estimate materials and cost.

Preferred Qualifications
Some related vocational course work preferred. Responsible experience in carpentry.
