ShelfGenie is expanding rapidly and we need help to accommodate the huge demand!
We are currently seeking skilled Carpenters who are already talented craftsmen to install our custom Glide-Out shelving in customers’ existing cabinets. This is an opportunity for you to grow your business alongside ours. While the work is only part-time, our clients sometimes need other remodeling and fix-up work in their home, which can lead to additional side work for your contracting company.
You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Significant past experience as a professional carpenter is highly preferred and a positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
Take accurate measurements and upload to the computer portal system
Receive product shipment and inspect products for quality
Schedule an appointment with the customer
Install Glide-Out shelving at customer home to the customer’s satisfaction
Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Qualifications:
Must have all necessary state Licenses and Insurance
Previous experience as a professional carpenter
Must value the importance of customer service
Must have reliable transportation
Must have tools
Must have a computer with internet access and email
Ability to read and correctly interpret blueprints
Should be skilled with & be able to safely operate/use all carpentry tools including tape measure, rotary laser, string line, circular saw, levels, hammer & nails, chalk line, rotary hammer, square, etc.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
