This position is specifically designed to teach, and help the qualified candidate enhance their skill set so that they can effectively install windows & doors while learning various techniques in rough & finish carpentry from start to finish. If you are a hard worker, eager to learn and grow with a company then this may be the position for you! The pay for this position is weekly.This is a 1099 position. We do not offer benefits, and we do not withold local, federal, or state taxes. You will be responsible for this. You MUST have a reliable and professional form of transportation to get to work on a daily basis.Responsibilities and DutiesWorking closely with the assigned carpenterGathering necessary tools/materials to complete the task as assignedMeasuring, cutting, and installing various materials as assignedCleaning the job site as instructedKeeping the job site organized so that it runs efficientlyQualifications and SkillsAbility to show up to work every day. On-time, and as scheduled.Ability to read a tape measure, and transfer the measurement to the material.Customer-friendly: must have the ability to add to, or solely provide a “customer first” atmosphere while in their homes, and on their property.Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeSupplemental pay types:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:As a response to COVID-19, we do wear masks inside of our client’s homes if we are asked to. Handwashing and proper hygienic techniques recommended by the CDC are also used as controls / preventative measures while working.Experience:Carpentry: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: On the road
